The Return Fire Archive is now live.

Return Fire is a 1995 vehicular combat game developed by Silent Software for the 3DO, the spiritual successor to designer Baron “Kurt” Von Wolfsheild’s earlier 16-bit game Fire Power. Alex Kasper produced the game and served as its sound designer and music supervisor — work critics singled out repeatedly, calling the soundtrack “standout” and central to the game’s tension and spectacle.

Electronic Gaming Monthly named it Game of the Month with an Editor’s Choice Gold Award, and it later placed #63 on EGM’s list of the 100 best video games of all time. Browse the archive.
